Life's a bitch. As you might have read from Azucena's blog (http://64.33.80.205/node/158), I aint living the hi life right now. Aside from the aches and other stuff, the side affects from the meds were insomnia. So I spend two days on a brand new bed just lying there trying to fall asleep and blaming it on the bed. On the second night, I spent half the time on the couch to see if it was the bed. Stayed awake then too. Once I found out it was the drugs, I was able to relax a bit more at night and at least get some rest. So I mostly recovered from Acute Bronchitis and Acute Sinusitis. but a few days later I have to go back to the doctor. I have an sinus infection this time. The new meds are mostly harmless for side affects. The lesser ones have me a bit worried tho. Hallucinations and nightmares. Sadly, I missed out on a lot of fun New Years eve. I stayed in the room because I didn't want to get others sick and I think we had an impromptu party. It happens. People want to come over and dance, and uh, dance. So they call and show up. Usually on Friday or Saturday. No complaints here. BCS mixup Ok, so most UT fans think Texas got shafted in the BCS rankings. But life goes on. We did beat Ohio State (sorry dad), and I'm sure we would have done ok against Florida. It was a sloppy nail biter in the first half and a bit better nail biter in the second. Those last second wins have got to go away (USC, Michigan, Texas Tech, Ohio State). I just knew Oklahoma was going to lose because they always do in the bowls. Do great in the regular season, but for some reason, can't get it going in the bowls. Big Rats. Yea, we have rats. Big enough to look like Dachshunds. Wait, They are. We are babysitting two dog for a church member who will be gone for a few months. We were also babysitting Mammas for a few months until her owner found a place that would take dogs. That turned out to be for life. I just hope this doesn't. I realize I'm not as fond of dogs as I could be. Probably Papas had something to do with that. Oh well. Right now, Dante and Shawn are in hiding. I don't think they escaped, although one tried to gnaw on the gate earlier. On the funny side, when you shout NO!!, they look around like GOD spoke or something. That quizzical look is just too much. And yes, they do stop, so they understand a few things. I guess we'll get along better in the next few days. They are tolerating Buddy and Papas right now, while they look at the new dogs as an adventure. Ok, I'm done for now. I'm sending my ass back to bed. Hope you had fun reading this dribble. If not, then you are nowhere near as insane as the others are. I could use a taquito from Whataburger right about now. Any takers? Can you hallucinate a nightmare, or is this the delirium and mania talking?
