Texting and email

Ok, so you shouldn't make fun of your elders, especially if they are your father and not tech savvy.
Ok, so we'll have a bit of fun at his expense anyway.

We FINALLY got text messaging on all our phones. It probably would have come in handy at the Bank of America 500, but we waited until now. I think Ronald is the main reason. We actually had Verizon block text messaging for most of our phones.
So now we have texting and I send one to my dad telling him I'm at Pluckers watching the Reds play the Astros and if he was in the stands (he's a big Reds fan). Well, he gets my message which on the screen says TEXT Message. So he goes to his computer and pulls up his email to read it. He actually has an email believe it or not (he don't get many and most of them are mine). So now he thinks whenever his phone says Text Message, he has an email. I think we'll have Verizon block text message on his phone again. I called him to enlighten him and now he understands, but he still can't figure out how to read them.

Ok, that was our laugh for the week.
Sorry dad.
