Ooopsie. I am a bit late on this. Last Saturday night, Ceci and the AllNighters played at the Blues on the Hill festival in Harlingen. 3 bands and hers was the last and best. I'm only saying theirs was the best because I know her. You'll have to listen for yourselves to find out. I understand she's doing Joe's Generic Blues on Mondays now, maybe more.
Anyway, after the showing, everyone was invited (estimated count was at about 600) to a blues bar for a gathering. Several were there and waited about an hour and 1/2 for Ceci to show up. When the house band took a break, the AllNighters took stage for a few songs, then one more, then one more. One of the songs, which included a former drummer of hers, was totally made on the spot, she called it Improv 101. Sounded pretty good too.
