Christmas shopping and celebrating

I think shopping is over with. I think. You never know. I thought it was over with last week, and the week before that. Anyway, I really think shopping is over. We have one Christmas gift opening party tomorrow (Sunday) for some of the Rocksteads. Angie is going to be out of town during Christmas (visiting relatives, either in Dallas or the Valley). So, we'll open some presents for them and the kids (Angie, Doug, Doug Jr, Marcus).
Wednesday, probably, we might do another with friends (Jim and Evelyn, Kim, Nini). We all agreed not to buy presents for anyone, but Evie is the first to break the promise every year by sending us something through the mail. Paybacks can be hell.
Friday, we'll do one with the rest of Azucena's family (Dad, Mom, Ceci, Ronald. Doug and kids may be there)
Saturday, after Azucena gets back from Christmas Mass at the nursing home(s), we'll head over to my mom's for one more (Mom, Randy, ARO, Jeff, Sue, Ben, Katie, Anna). Gary, Carol and kids will have to do on their own back in New Jersey.
Finally, at the beginning of next year, we'll have one final present opening with Ceci's "extended" family (Raul, Johnny, David, Jessie).
We signed up (er, Azucena signed us up, I'll have you know) at her church to sponsor a family for Christmas. 2 girls and a boy. Also, she got her work to sponsor another family. Presents and dinner, oh my. We did a LOT of wrapping. Let me rephrase that. I'm not allowed to wrap anymore. KIM did a LOT of wrapping. She came over last week and spent an hour or so wrapping presents while watching Dodgeball (the movie). Good movie, by the way. We got J&E and Kim to stop by last night and conned Kim and Evie to help wrap some more, while Jim and I did football. Like I said, I'm not allowed to wrap presents. I can hang lights, go shopping, clean up, but not wrap. Whatever I did to get punished like this, I'd like to know, so I can do it again next year.
One last spot check... a few more presents to wrap, but since Airplane (the movie) has started, I don't think ARO will get the last of them done before tonight. (They're due tomorrow, shhhh).
