Odds and Ends

Well, so much for March Madness. It was one and out or two and out for UT men and women and Ohio State. Bah Humbug.

Azucena is still in the hunt for a new job. She's been interviewed, but it takes time to get the right person. With the high unemployment, companies get to be more choosy this time around.
With her extended vacation, she's been able to paint the guest room and computer room. She has also swapped the rooms around.
We worked on painting the master bedroom, but until we can clear some stuff out, we can only paint 2/3's of it. No rush.

Gary's company, New Jersey Legal, has put out a forensic comic strip, Capain Forensics. Pretty interesting.

It looks like Randy the Bandit is back. He's won the last three Texas Holdems he's played. Ahhh the limelight.

Finally, I got new glasses. These have progressive lenses, so I can finally see up close and far away without changing classes or looking through two at the same time. These take a bit getting use to since your focus has to be straight ahead. They say to you can't look to the side without turning your head. Kinda like animals who do the same. If I try to look to the side, it gets fuzzy and distorted.
These feel a little like polycarbonate lenses, which I can't use because of the pinpoint spot my eyes see out of. Don't know why my eyes do this, but oh wells.
These are pretty nice. I like them and enjoy the fact that I can read a book without having to remove my glasses. Also at work, I can now look at papers and then the monitor without having issues.
