Lent is over

One thing we discovered over Lent has nothing to do with Lent, but with our DVR.
We had a 130gb SATA hard drive that we never used, so we hooked it up to the DVR and let it format and take over.
Since Azucena gave up TV for lent, we'd be keeping a lot of recordings including some 2 hours movies (By the way, even though she gave up TV for lent, she was allowed to watch TV on Sunday - a "lent holiday" http://www.kencollins.com/holy-04.htm).
So, we piled on the recordings. Right now we have 58 recordings at 23% with most of the recordings in HD. I think we would normally be around 20 - 30 recording before it filled up. Granted, Clean House Comes Clean takes up the majority at 30 minutes each. But a few months ago, it would have been House when they started their marathons.
It's soo cool to be able to record as much as you want and not have to be worried about maxing out. Imagine going on a long vacation. The only problem we'd have is replacing the DVR means we'd lose quite a bit of recordings. And you can only get about 4 or 5 1 hour recordings saved to a DVD.
So now that Lent is officially over, we can start watching our shows again. Lately we've been playing video games. She just finished Champions of Norrath. I'm working on Legend of Zelda.
Now to go veg out.
