Ok, so week one is done. Is Alex Hermann the only one with a perfect bracket so far? He even picked Northwest Iowa over Kansas. Now, if Purdue can win it all...
Lent is here. Don't forget, Sunday is a holiday, so to speak. Not much left. Hope it is going well for you.
Dead grass. Now, how do you go about killing grass? You fertilize it and water it and by September it is pretty much dead and getting deader each day. So now, all we have is weeds and uh, more weeds. Methinks I used turf fertilizer instead of St. Augustine fertilizer and promptly gave it the death penalty. So, now the lawn gets tilled and we are going to use Bermuda seed to start over. Yeah, we killed the grass in the back yard too. Oh wells.
Azucena made semi headlines again today. In the AustinAmerican Statesman is an insert from St. David's on the Neuro Texas Institute. Several people are featured on the success of St. David's neurosurgery department. Azucena's brain surgery is one of them. Click here to read her version of it.
In a few weeks, we'll be attending NASCAR at Fort Worth: Live. Amber asked to meet up with us and since we didn't have tickets, we do now. It'll be great meeting up with some newfound friends from the NASCAR championship banquet last year. This sounds like it's going to be fun.
Oh yeah, and all you idiot losers that like to post bogus comments, get a life (I'm talking about spammers or the so called advertisers). Since your comments need approval, they are easier than ever to wipe out. You are just wasting your own time.

Dead lawn
Ok, I compared my receipt to the fertilizer products and I used the correct stuff. I'm guessing that I put it on too early and didn't water it when I should have, but to me that would mean dead grass sooner, not later. Who knows.
Clarification on Comments
Randy should probably clarify his comment on comments. When he referred to idiot losers, he was talking about the spammers who try to post their stuff en masse. Real comments are always welcome. - Azucena (logged in as Randy)
