Watched Texas "squeak" by on Friday. Overall a great game. Saturday, we had several people over for a Rockstead Thanksgiving. All went well, but if we are going to have pot luck, then ARO will need to NOT make so much extras next time. Pot luck was a great idea. Lots of good food came by and very little got wasted. The dressing was some of the best I've ever had. Then the actual Rocksteads got into playing something called Hero Clix. This is a "50" minute game, but it took them about 1 1/2 - 2 hours just getting set up, then another 1 1/2 - 2 hours to play. I had also charged up a bunch of batteries so we could do some RC racing out back, but since it rained that morning, plus with everyone playing some Clix game, it didn't seem important enough to start it up. But, I think I disappointed Kimmie. I didn't know she was looking forward to racing. Jim probably would have also, so I think I failed in my decision making. Doug, Sr. and Ronald have been here since Wednesday, and they'll be heading back to Harlingen on Monday.
